This mural was the fourth mural and a combination of a couple of different things. The mountain in the picture is in Mexico City, but the temple is in a completely different location geographically. Jimmy told me a story from his childhood about seeing that mountain from his mothers house out his bedroom window. He said that people would talk about seeing UFO’s around the mountain and he always wanted to see one as a kid and never did. In one of the final pictures, I added a little something for the inner child in Jimmy. I also hid quite a few family names into the background. One other thing made this mural unique was that there was an odd break in wall about 7 foot in where the center building meets the ground it looks like the perspective is off, but that was on purpose. When you sit in the booths facing the mural it flattens out which was a fun optical challenge.
